Session Five

Practice Stay for 3 seconds; hold your hand out with the force. Treat for Stay then release by saying okay!

Boundaries- point and say out/place to keep pups out of the kitchen. Use your body as a block to keep them out.

Practice door system: Have them sit, then Stay using your hand with the force to keep then from pushing forward. When the door is open, you will release them and say okay.

Walking- when outside keep pups in heel position. Check in with your pups by calling their name- if they respond (look up at you) treat them

Practice using leash lock for outdoor safety

Session Six

Practice Place and Stay with 30 sec duration. Once you are comfortable with the duration, take one steps back (keep your hand out) then say Okay to release pups from their place.

Door system: when guest knock on door, send pups to the stairs and have them stay until guest enter your home.

Blue tape boundary-use your body as a block, toss treats in opposite direction to move the energy away from the kitchen.

Check in with pups on their walk by calling their name, if they look up to you treat them. If they look up to you without calling, praise and/or treat them.
